Being outdoors, whatever the weather or season, messing about in boats and kayaks, exploring rock pools or walking the coastal path, there is so much to do without picking up the car keys.

Gillan Creek is excellent for watersports and the Helford River Sailing Club is close by. There are excellent golf courses at Mullion and Budock Vean, tennis courts can be hired locally and there is a myriad of art galleries and beautiful gardens to visit.

The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth is a short drive and the Eden Project is about an hour away.
